Professional flower procurement

Specify the delivery stage before comparing the supply.

“GACP flower” and “EU-GMP flower” do not describe interchangeable offers. A credible screen starts with the buyer's intended use, destination, required manufacturing and release stage, current lot evidence and comparable commercial basis.

For licensed and otherwise authorized commercial operators. Not for patients or consumers. No public inventory or supplier identities appear on this page.

Scope: Dried flower and starting-material procurement

First decision

What exactly must the seller deliver?

The answer determines which facilities, authorizations, evidence and costs belong in the comparison.

A / Starting material

GACP-aligned herbal starting material

The buyer or a named downstream party may still need manufacturing, testing, packaging, certification or release work. That downstream path must be identified rather than implied.

B / Intermediate stage

Further processing still required

State the exact processing stage, responsible facility, planned work, expected yield, testing and rejection responsibility. A future plan is not a completed route.

C / Finished stage

Product offered at a defined GMP/release stage

Identify the licensed entities, facility scope, batch documents, certification or release status, destination and what remains for the buyer to complete.

Do not compare unlike prices. A quote for GACP material FCA origin cannot be ranked directly against a finished or released product delivered to the destination. Conversion, loss, testing, certification, freight and other unpriced items must remain visible.

Flower requirement spine

The fields that determine fit.

Product and quality

  • Flower, starting material or another defined product stage
  • Cannabinoid target, unit, testing basis and acceptable tolerance
  • Cultivar requirements or permitted substitutes
  • Irradiated, non-irradiated, treatment permitted or no preference
  • Microbiology, contaminants, moisture, terpene or other specifications
  • Packaging, bud/trim grade, shelf life and storage requirements

Execution and economics

  • Destination and intended use
  • Importer, manufacturer, processor and release responsibilities
  • Current lot quantity, MOQ, cadence and need date
  • Samples, quality review and purchasing decision process
  • Currency, unit, Incoterm, named place and quote validity
  • Known included costs and remaining unknowns

Lot-level screen

What “available” needs to mean.

A cultivar deck, forecast or historical COA is not current, executable supply. A buyer-ready record should support the following questions.

QuestionUseful evidenceDo not substitute
Which lot is being offered?Stable lot/batch identifier and an availability confirmation dateGeneric cultivar profile
How much is unallocated?Total quantity, already allocated quantity, offerable kg and MOQAnnual cultivation capacity
Does testing relate to that lot?Report ID, dates, lab/method and lot linkageRepresentative or historical COA without clear linkage
What is the commercial basis?Price, currency, unit, Incoterm, named place, validity and inclusionsA number without delivery stage or terms
What route is actually supported?Named entities, roles, authorizations and current scope evidence“EU-GMP pathway available” without a defined party and scope

Provenance screen

A small comparison with gaps left visible.

Mandatory failures are excluded. Unknowns request evidence; they are not converted into passes. Supplier payment does not determine recommendation priority.

Fit

Each candidate is marked pass, fail or unknown against the buyer's latest stated mandatory criteria.

Evidence

Registry checks, reviewed documents, counterparty statements and stale or missing items are distinguished and dated.

Next decision

The output names the single next evidence request or purchasing choice needed before controlled diligence can advance.

Primary sources

Standards must be applied to the real product and route.

Operational note: this page explains procurement questions, not a universal regulatory route. The licensed importer, manufacturer, responsible quality professionals and relevant authorities determine the requirements for the actual product and transaction.

Current need

Submit the product stage you actually need.

Include the destination, delivery stage, quantity, timing and non-negotiable specifications. Approximate ranges are fine for the first screen.
