About Provenance

Know the role before you share the requirement.

Provenance Global Trade Network LLC is a buyer-led, non-custodial commercial-origination and market-access business for regulated medical-cannabis trade. We structure requirements, screen preliminary fit and coordinate controlled introductions; licensed counterparties make the regulated and purchasing decisions.

Scope

What Provenance does—and does not do.

Clear boundaries help buyers, suppliers and advisers assign each decision to the party that can properly make it.

Provenance does

  • Capture one current buyer requirement and its mandatory criteria.
  • Screen a small number of permitted capabilities against product, evidence, route, timing and comparable economics.
  • Label primary evidence, counterparty statements, inferences, unknowns and stale information separately.
  • Identify the smallest missing-information set needed for the next decision.
  • Coordinate a controlled introduction after the applicable relationship, fee, route and disclosure gates are satisfied.

Provenance does not

  • Operate a public live-inventory catalogue, product checkout or consumer service.
  • Take title to, possess, import, export, transport, test, manufacture, certify or release cannabis products.
  • Publish supplier identities, exact live pricing, COAs or restricted documents by default.
  • Issue a legal, regulatory, quality or medical approval.
  • Guarantee a match, introduction, transaction, authorization, shipment or commercial outcome.

Non-custodial means the parties transact directly. Buyers, suppliers and their appointed licensed service providers remain responsible for contracts, funds, product, shipping, import/export, manufacturing, testing, certification, release and transaction-specific professional advice.

Evidence and editorial policy

Show the source, state and date.

Our public material is intended to help professional readers ask better diligence questions. It is not a substitute for checking the current rule, registry, document or responsible professional for the actual transaction.

01 / Source hierarchy

Primary records first

Where available, we link to the issuing authority, official law, guideline or registry. Secondary analysis may add context but does not replace the primary record.

02 / Evidence labels

No silent promotion to fact

A counterparty statement or working inference remains labelled. Unknown, pending, expired and stale information stays visible until the appropriate evidence supports a different state.

03 / Dates and scope

Specific check, specific limit

A “reviewed” date records the page review—not permanent accuracy. A registry or document check applies only to the named entity, scope and date recorded.

Corrections: email paul@provenance.green with the page URL, disputed wording and the strongest available source. Material corrections are reviewed against the source and reflected in the page text and review date where warranted.

Privacy, disclosure and conflicts

Collect less publicly. Disclose only when the gate is met.

Commercial usefulness does not require public identities or unrestricted documents.

Public intake is limited

Public forms request business and requirement information. Do not submit patient data, identity documents, COAs, certificates or confidential files through them.

Disclosure is staged

Preliminary work is internal or anonymous. Redacted evidence, identities and introductions require the applicable permission, protection and route checks.

Commercial interests are stated

Supplier payment does not determine a recommendation. Fee payer, role and material conflicts should be disclosed in the relevant opportunity terms; Provenance does not use pay-to-rank or hidden dual compensation.

See the privacy notice for website collection, storage, analytics choices, providers, retention and access/correction requests. See how we screen supply for the public evidence and disclosure method.

Primary-source starting points

Official material behind recurring diligence questions.

These links help frame checks. They do not establish that a particular entity, product, lot, route or shipment is acceptable.

Start with demand
